The Perth Mint Red Back Spider from the Deadly & Dangerous coin series is a 29 g (1oz) Proof coin released as the first in the series.
Only a 5000 issues of this red and black coloured coins were issued in 2006. Later a 2000 mintage issues were struck especially for the Russian market. The coins were sold as high as $ 1000 to $ 1500 for one coin.
