RR Auction is going to offer Summer and Winter Olympics winners’ medals, participation medals, Olympic torches and related items for sale from 12th January to 19th January. The identity of the medal winner and the sport for which the medal was won will be revealed only to the final bidder.

A 1900 Summer Paris Olympics rectangular silvered bronze winner’s medal designed by French sculptor and engraver Frédéric-Charles Victor de Vernon will also be offered for an estimated value of $1,000+.

The obverse features the inscription REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE, EXPOSITION UNIVERSELL, PARIS 1900 and the winged goddess spreading laurels on grounds of the Exposition. The reverse depicts the inscription “physical exercise and sports,” EXERCICES PHYSIQUES ET SPORT, a victorious athlete on a podium, a stadium and the Acropolis. One edge has the inscription BRONZE.
