Two of the three special occasion coin sets introduced by the US Mint will be released for sale on 19th January.

The first is a 2017 Birth Set priced at $19.95), containing one Kennedy half dollar, the first 2017 coin in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program featuring Effigy Mounds National Monument, one Roosevelt dime, one Jefferson nickel, and one Lincoln cent. The coins are struck at San Francisco Mint and come in a special presentation pack.

The second Happy Birthday Set can also be purchased for $19.95 and includes the following coins struck at San Francisco mint: one Kennedy half dollar, the last 2017 coin in the 2017 America the Beautiful Quarters® Program featuring George Rogers Clark National Historical Park, one Roosevelt dime, one Jefferson nickel, and one Lincoln cent. The packaging is attractive and has space for writing a personal message.
