The Mint of Poland released the second coin under the series “Code of the Future” for Niue Island. The latest coin is dedicated to the “Speed of Light” and the earlier one was named as “Artificial Intelligence”.

The “Speed of Light” coin design incorporates a “wormhole” effect like the first coin but by bending the shape in the opposite direction. Blue and yellow streaks represent beams of light. Their curving path gives a feel of the high speed of light which travels at 299,792,458 meters per second. The inscriptions include 299792458m/s and speed of light. The coin also has a property of glowing in the dark. The obverse features a portrait of HM Elizabeth II with jagged streaks along with the inscriptions CODE OF THE FUTURE, 2 DOLLARS, ELIZABETH II, and NIUE 2016.
