Award Winning Commemoratives of Isle of Man Post

Isle of Man Post Office has recently presented its latest stamp issue produced marking the 175th Anniversary of the Penny Black, the world's first adhesive posting stamp. These stamps have received to awards at the 12th China Annual Best Foreign Stamp Poll in November 2016.Produced in collaboration with Stanley Gibbons, this special set of stamps was issued to mark the 175 Anniversary of Penny Black and the Birth of Stanley Gibbons.
The stamps with the denomination of 1pence, 42 pence and 90 pence include the depiction of the Penny Black, the Penny and the Two Penny Blue.
In addition stamp with the denominations of £ 1.20, £ 1.60 and £ 2.30 feature - Stanley Gibbons, William Mulready, and Rowland Hill whose portraits are featured on the stamps next to their associated contribution.
This set was the winner of the “Best Stamp Topic Selection Award” and the first runner – up of the “Best Stamp Design Award” at the 12th China Annual Best Foreign Stamp Poll.
