The Perth Mint has issued a lovely Christmas Special Coin in the shape of a star this month. The Proof finish coin is made of one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The reverse features a burning candle with a red bow and a wreath of holly.

The mintage limit of the coin is just 3,000. They come enclosed in a coin star-shaped capsule with a provision to tie a ribbon and hang the coin as a Christmas tree decoration.
