Brazil Post issued a set of two stamps designed to help people understand and rationalize the consumption of water and electricity and help to learn conscious consumption of resources.

The first stamp shows a picture of a tap, as a symbol of water consumption. An arrow indicates the movement that must be done to close it. Other designs made with ballpoint pen, represent water consumption reduction tips: rainwater utilization, sweep the courtyard rather than wash it, brush your teeth with the tap closed, lather up with enclosed shower, fix leaks , washing vehicles and watering plants without using hose.

The second stamp shows a light bulb as a symbol of electricity consumption and the sun as a symbol of alternative light and energy source. Other drawings suggest important tips: turn off the lights in empty rooms, using more economical appliances, avoiding standby mode.

Both the stamps come in the same denomination of 2.10 Brazilian real and depict a beautiful eye catching combination of white and blue. Such kind of messages depicted on stamp will definitely make a difference one day!
