Royal Canadian Mint once again shows its creative side with its latest coin set release. The set consists of a quartet of 99.99% fine silver coins which when placed together in a particular way forms a complete maple leaf.

The reverses of the coins feature a section of a sugar maple leaf in its natural setting. Inscriptions include FINE SILVER 1/4 OZ ARGENT PUR 9999, CANADA, and 2017. The obverse features the common portrait of Queen Elizabeth along with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II, D G REGINA, 3 DOLLARS, and SB for the artist’s initials.

The mintage limit of these 47.4 grams 99.99% pure silver 3 dollar coins with a reverse proof finish is 7,500 and they cost CAD $204.95.
