Money of the Bible is a very interesting and illustrative art book dedicated to both numismatics and Biblical studies written by Kenneth Bressett. It was awarded the Numismatic Literary Guild’s top prize of “Best Specialized Book, World Coins.”Not just professional numismatists, but also the general public have shared extremely positive reviews about the book.
The book shows inscriptions of 30 pieces of silver, the money given to Judas for his betrayal of Jesus. It also shows a depiction of Widow’s Mites, two tiny yet significant coins, the Tribute Penny, also known as “rendered unto Caesar”; money that the Good Samaritan used to pay the innkeeper etc.
Apart from the Numismatic knowledge the book also enlightens everyone about the ancient customs and the truths of Bible.
