The 2016 Gilded Australian Kangaroo one ounce 99.99% silver coin with 24-karat gold gilding was released by Australia and is up for sale at $86.36. The mintage is limited to 5,000 coins.

The reverse depicts a gold-gilded kangaroo in motion with sunburst emerging from behind. Other inscriptions include ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’, ‘1 OZ 9999 SILVER’, ‘2016’, and the Perth Mint’s “P” mint mark. The obverse features the common portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘AUSTRALIA’, and ‘1 DOLLAR’.
