Maple Leaf Shaped Canadian Coin Features Geese

The sale of the third maple leaf shaped coin by Royal Canadian mint has begun and this one’s called $10 Maple Leaf Silhouette Canadian Geese Silver Coin. It is made of 99.99% pure silver and weighs 15.67 grams which is unique for its size. The coin features two geese in a pond and will be sold for CAD $84.95.The ripples in the water give the coin a unique texture. Other inscriptions include 2016 and 10 DOLLARS. The obverse features the common portrait of Queen Elizabeth along with the inscriptions ‘CANADA’, ‘ELIZABETH II’ and ‘D G REGINA’. The mintage limit of the coin is 22,000.
The first coin of the series was released in 2015 and was sold within in 2 days. The second coin was released in June and features a coloured autumn maple leaf.
