Madras Presidency or Madras Provinces was a British administrative division that encompassed much of southern India.

A Gold two Pagoda weighing 5.19g, from the Madras Presidency was auctioned for INR 215000 in Mumbai on May 5, 2024.

The obverse features Gopuram enclosed in a circle, 9 stars on each side, Value 'TWO PAGODA' written around within a beaded border. The reverse features Lord Vishnu in centre surrounded by granulated dots, values in Tamil & Telugu on a ribbon around.
