Very Rare Gold Nazarana Half Mohur Maharaja Govind Singh Sold For INR 3,00,000

Princely State Datia was founded in 1735 CE by Bhagwan Das, son of Narsingh Dev of the Orchha Royal House. Govind Singh ruled the Datia state from 1907 to 1948 AD. During their reign, he issued various gold and silver coins.Maharaja Govind Singh of Princely State Datia issued this Gold Nazarana Half-Mohur, 6.62g. The obverse depicts the portrait of Maharaja Sri Govind Singh with a continuous legend in Roman script within the dotted border. The reverse features the Coat of Arms of the state.
