USPS Unveils New Eid Stamp

The United States Postal Service has unveiled a brand new stamp to recognize and celebrate the holy month of Ramzan.Released in an event at the Islamic Center of America (ICA) on Friday, June 10th, this ornate stamp commemorates two most important festivals or Eids in Islamic Calendar viz. Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha which ends the Month of Ramzan.
The stamp is a forever stamp and has now become a part of USPS’ Holiday Celebrations series. The stamp features the design that evokes centuries of tradition. Created by world-renowned calligrapher Mohamed Zakaria of Arlington, the stamp features beautiful gold calligraphy and an olive branch.
The calligraphy delivers the message of Eidukum Mubarak which means “May your Eid be blessed”.
