India released a commemorative stamp with the highest denomination i.e., Rs 150=00 on December 13, 2022, marking the 150th birth anniversary (1872-2022) of Sri Aurobindo who was a poet, an educator, spiritual reformer, and a nationalist.

The stamp's face value could be seen on the top left side, with the name imprinted in devanagri on the upper right corner. Young Aurobindo’s image is printed in the center, along with his "150th Birth Anniversary 1872-2022" written in Devanagri and Roman. “2022”, the year of the stamp issued at lower left corner.
