Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist and theatre designer. He was one of the most important painters of the 20th Century, in terms of the art movement that occurred during that period. In 1982, India issued a stamp on Picasso's painting- Three Musician which has a face value of 2.85 Rupee. It bears the name of the artist and his painting in Hindi and English.Three Musicians painting is a Picassos Cubist style. Cubism has described as an intellectual style because the artists analyzed the shapes of their subjects and reinvented them on canvas. It is one of two very large paintings of the same subject that Picasso painted in 1921, both interpreted to be symbolic group portraits of the artist and two old friends.
