The fifth and last issue of the 2016 Geometry in Art 99.99% silver Proof coin series was released by the Royal Canadian Mint featuring the maple leaf with polygon shapes. The mintage limit of the coin is 7,500 and the price per coin is $99.95 CAD.

The reverse depicts two maple leaves with a coloured autumnal forest in the background. Officials state that the “low poly art style” utilizes geometric shapes to add texture to the design. Other inscriptions include ‘CANADA’, ‘2016’, and ‘20 DOLLARS’.

The obverse features the common portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with other inscriptions ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘D.G. REGINA’ and a Latin abbreviation for “By the Grace of God, Queen”.
