Kimberley Treasure is the name given to the 99.99 percent pure gold coin which holds an Argyle diamond and is worth about $9,50,000.The reverse of the coin features a red kangaroo holding a 0.54 carat red gemstone and the obverse depicts the common Queen Elizabeth II portrait. Officials state that it is the only coin in the world which is embedded with a radiant red diamond from the Argyle Diamond Mine.
The collector’s item is also a legal tender in Australia. Officials revealed that almost 200 buyers from around the world have shown interest in this special coin.
The coin would be available for prospective buyers to view till late August.
