The stamp has been launched to laud the efforts of the Indian scientists for the development of India’s indigenous COVID-19 vaccine.Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya while launching a postage stamp on the indigenously developed vaccine Covaxin to mark one year of the inoculation drive said 70 percent of India’s adults have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 while 93 percent received the first jab. The drive was rolled out on January 16 last year with healthcare workers getting inoculated in the first phase.
