Kasinadhuni Nageswara Rao Pantulu was an Indian journalist, businessman, and staunch supporter of the Khaddar movement. He had participated in the Indian Independence movement and civil disobedience movement through salt Satyagraha.
Kasinadhuni Nageswara Rao Pantulu was a financier of Congress activities in Andhra and Chennai; he is also known for patenting Amrutanjan. The people of Andhara Pradesh had given him the title Desabandhu.
Kasinadhuni Nageswara was the founder of the Andhra movement for a separate Andhra state from the Madras Presidency. He is also conferred with the title Desoddhaaraka (Uplifter of the masses) by the Andhra Mahasabha. In 1936, the Andhra University honored him with Kalaprapoorna, an honorary doctorate of Literature.
