The above coin is the unique "End of World" themed series of “American Eagle” colorized coins.

The coin was issued to let the world know the horrors of nuclear weapon and to maintain the relations of peace in the world. Since nuclear weapons testing began on 16 July 1945, nearly 2,000 have taken place. In the early days of nuclear testing little consideration was given to its devastating effects on human life, let alone the dangers of nuclear fallout from atmospheric tests.

This beautiful new coin issue features the Walking Liberty in gold with all filigree details. The coin depicts a nuclear bomb explosion behind the statue of Liberty. The reverse of the coin depicts an American eagle with radiation symbol in the background.
