F1 Coins Get Fast and Furious

There’s some good news coming your way if you love fast cars zipping past you or you’re one of those who can skip a weekend party for following a Formula 1 race! On 15th June, officially licensed gold and silver coins by Formula One World Championship Limited will be revealed.The coins are struck by Swiss-based PAMP S.A and will be available from Rosland Capital Group in the U.S. and U.K, which has been appointed by Stunt & Co. Ltd., the exclusive, worldwide license holder of these coins.
They would be available in a variety of designs to celebrate the history of this popular race. They would highlight the British Grand Prix™ and the Grand Prix races in Italy, the United States and Brazil. The coin features a Formula 1® car, the name of the event and the Formula 1® logo. The obverse features the common portrait of Queen Elizabeth II along with the denomination of the coin.
British Grand Prix coins will be available from 15th June onwards. The $5 Proof .999 fine 2.5-ounce silver coin has a mintage limit of 1,000 pieces. The Proof .9999 fine gold quarter-ounce $25 coin has a mintage limit of 5,000 pieces per race. The Proof .9999 fine gold 2.5 ounces $200 coin has a mintage limit of 100 pieces.
