Millard Fillmore was the 13th President of the United States of America between 1850 and 1853, Millard Fillmore; was elected as the 12th Vice President of the United States of America in the year 1848 CE, and he became the President of the United States of America in the year 1850 CE after the death of President Zachary Taylor. He was the last Whig President and the last President who was not a Democratic or Republican.

Millard Fillmore was born poor, but despite being poor, he climbed to the highest office in the land—and inherited a nation breaking into fragments over the question of slavery.
