Malaysia Post issued a set of stamps featuring Superstar of South Rajinikanth. It is to be noted that many important scenes of Rajini’s film Kabali were shot in Malaysia and the movie became the first Tamil flick to be dubbed in Malay.
During the shoot in Malaysia, Rajini was showered love by Tamils and Malaysian people. The stamps were issued before the movie hit the box office. The stamps were issued with the denominations of raging from 10 sen to 5 ringgit.
The stamps feature the still-shot of the film with the standing figure of the superstar with the set of the movie in the background. The denomination and the name of the country are on the top. Kabali had the highest worldwide opening day for a South Indian film, earning Rs. 875 million.
