2020-11-13 Fri

The blood bank is something which is needed in case of emergency and also during operation and planned treatment. Blood banks are helpful for patients who are undergoing life-threatening situations. It is also required during complex medical and surgical procedures.

Every year on 14th June, World Blood Donor Day is celebrated which is the birth anniversary of Karl Landsteiner. He won the Nobel Prize for his discovery of the ABO blood group system.
