Caracalla was an Emperor of the Roman Empire; he ruled the Roman Empire between 198 CE and 217 CE. He was the son of Septimius Severus and Julia Domna. He became the co-ruler of the Roman Empire with his father 198 CE and sole ruler of the Roman Empire after the death of his father in the year 211 CE.This silver Denarius weighs around 3.07 g was issued by him during his rule in the Roman Empire. The obverse of this coin depicts as the ‘Bust of laureate facing towards right and the legend ANTONINVS PIVS AVG around. The reverse of this coin depicts Mars standing facing towards left, holding shield’ and reverse spear and the legend ‘PONTIF TR P VIIII COS II’.
