In the year 2010, the United States of America started issuing a quarter dollar; that depicts their national parks and other national sites on their quarter dollar. The United States of America issued this quarter dollar under the United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Program. The United States of America issued this quarter dollar to commemorate their national park and other national sites. There were around 56 quarter-dollar issued under United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Program.

This was the first quarter dollar issued by the United States of America with the theme of Hot Springs National Park in the year 2010. Hot Spring National Park is an American national park situated in the Garland Country, Arkansas.

The obverse of this quarter dollar depicts the portrait of the first president of the United States of America, George Washington, facing towards left. The reverse side of this coin depicts the façade of the Hot Springs National Park headquarters building with a thermal fountain in the foreground.
