The latest update to the NAV coin comprised of some special features and a coin swap as well. This announcement has led to a price hike in the market. NAV is termed as the world’s first anonymous cryptocurrency and the coin swap was planned so that everyone would enter the new blockchain with the latest features. Users sent their coins to Bittrex account before 31 May, 2016 and the coins were switched to the new type automatically on the same day. The users’ coins will have the same value after being swapped. Bittrex exchange was used to manage the swap process.

The upgrades include full automatic TOR implementation, protocol version and user agent, URI scheme, duplicate transactions, pong messages, hierarchical deterministic wallets, floating block size hard limit etc. These swaps have been performed earlier too to allow users to trade within the wallet using encrypted wallet-to-wallet private messaging.
