Herewith, the image is of Kentropyx borckiana. It is commonly known as Guyana kentropyx or Guyana tegu. The only Kentropyx species is found in the eastern Caribbean. It has only females; it is believed to consist only of unisexual clones. It is sizeable brown lizard once it was on the verge of extinction. But now found with increasing number.
This lizard is brown with stripes and dark blotches on the back and has a greenish neck and head with white underneath.
The Green Lizard is a widespread and prolific species of lizard that is a local inhabitant of the island.
