Four Swiss Christmas stamp illustrates grandeur of the Church Window

Swiss post issued a set of four stamps that illustrated a quit interesting aspect of Indian tradition. These stamps depict colourfulness and grandeur of Church windows. These bright festive times featured such Christmas motifs as a gift, a snowflake, a candle and a star. This piece of art was design by Manuel Ort, the geometry of the window on the Church inspired him.The designer has translated this technique into modern visual language using fresh colours and generously proportioned graphic. On each stamp the geometry design can be individual line grid in the background. Each colour chosen for the stamp added an extra brilliance o the stamp. This effect is further enhancing by the use of gold and silver pigment making it festive and cheerful.
