“Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed.” - Maria Montessori
Maria Montessori was an Italian physician, educator, and innovator, acclaimed for her educational method that builds on the way children learn naturally. She opened the first Montessori school—the Casa Dei Bambini, or Children’s House—in Rome on January 6, 1907.

There are now thousands of Montessori schools in countries worldwide. The Montessori system is based on the belief in the creative potential of children, and their drive to learn, which are still implemented in Montessori schools all over the globe.

Countries all over the world issued legal tenders in her commemoration to remember the contribution she gave to the field of education! India post issued a best quality albums of 20 Paise stamp to celebrate her birth centenary. Similarly, a 2 Euro coin has been issued in the year 2020 to commemorate the 150th birth Anniversary of the Italian educator.
