We live with germs all the time but a new one like Covid-19 requires time. New research shows that coronavirus could live up to one day on cardboard and three days on plastic, raising the alarm on how to best handle money during the coronavirus.‘Money laundering’ could take on a whole new meaning in Thailand, after the country’s central bank advised members of the public to wash their banknotes. The Bank of Thailand noted there were many people who were concerned banknotes could be contaminated with the coronavirus, thus increasing its spread.
As a result, the central bank is advising people to wash their banknotes with a mild detergent or soapy water, should they feel it necessary.
