In a tribute to those who are fighting Coronavirus, Brazil Post has launched a set of six stamps on 8th July 2020 in the partnership with Pan American Health Organization.
The block highlights the recommendations to stay healthy, such as hand and personal hygiene (such as cell phones), staying at home if possible, avoiding crowds and physical contact, keeping the rooms airy, and not sharing personal objects (such as dishes) and cutlery) or self-medication. The stamps also highlight the importance of science and technology, especially in this pandemic moment.
This block of stamps was issued in honor of the work to combat the pandemic of COVID-19. The art, by Alan Magalhães, presents the world map applied on a blue and green background.
