Issued in 2005 is a deep brown and green on multicolour underprint 10 rupee banknote of Sri Lanka. The obverse of this note depicts legend is printed in Sinhalese script on the top panel with the denomination on both sides. Central Bank of Srilanka is printed in both English and Sinhalese script with Chinze seen on right. The denomination is depicted on the left side and centre with signature and date below it. The serial number is seen in the top left and bottom right corner.
The reverse side depicts the image of a stork is printed on right with the denomination on the left side. The image of Presidential Secretariat building is seen in the centre with legend Central Bank of Srilanka is printed in both English and Sinhalese script above it. The lower foreground depicts the flower with the denomination in both words and numerals on both sides.
This banknote is issued by the central bank of Sri Lanka and consist the signature of Mahinda Rajapaksa and Ajith Nivard Cabral.
