Mayfair philatelic sale highlights

Mayfair philatelic returned to the Lingfield Park racecourse on March 8th and conducted a public auction. The auction house offered more than 100 boxes consist of a fine range of world philately items. The highlight of the auction was the Blacks and blues, three rainbow color trials, and an interesting section of underprint mint QV including the spectacular 4d ‘large garter’ blk of 4. Few rare error items also appear in this sale. These errors are QE2 errors including a nice group of Machine imperfect pairs and 1967 Xmas SG 757b officials including SG O63 and O110 stamps. This auction was the successful sale, it highlight went for more than 15,405 USD. Many of this other philatelic item went for a whopping price.
