We all are well aware that stamps and postcards of an older issue are fragile and should be treated with great care. Therefore, proper handling and storage of stamps are significant. The appropriate kind of care will help to preserve them for future collectors.
While handling fragile stamps or other collectibles, use soft cotton gloves, in order to avoid damage from fingerprints and natural oils of fingers or palm. It is strongly advised that don't attempt to clean a stamp or use an eraser on it. Also, don't try to repair any tears with cellophane tape because it will damage your treasure and will reduce its collectible appeal more than the original tear itself.
For storing your collection, use Lighthouse Stockbook A5- 32 black pages.
This is a basic A5 size stamp booklet with non-padded cover and black pages. It has double interleaving and rigid binding. The capacity of the album is 32 black pages and each page has 9 clear or transparent strips.
