Sathya Sai Baba

Sathya Sai Baba was an Indian religious leader and philanthropist was widely revered as a divine incarnation. He claimed as a young man that he was the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba and took the name Sathya Sai Baba. His followers considered him to be the Avatar of Shiva.

The Sathya Sai Organisation, founded by Sathya Sai Baba "to enable its members to undertake service activities as a means to spiritual advancement", has over 1,200 Sathya Sai Centres (branches) in 126 countries. Through this organization, Sathya Sai Baba established a network of free hospitals, clinics, drinking water projects, auditoriums, ashrams, and schools.

Sai Baba was known for his quote "Love All, Serve All. Help Ever, Hurt Never. To honor him India Postal Department has issued a commemorative stamp of value 500 Paise in 2013. It depicts the portrait of Sai Baba in the foreground.
