The World is on the threshold of a measure hazard. After two major wars and the ongoing ecological crisis, it is now standing amidst a battlefield. The enemy, this time, is not an atom bomb but is more micro. The infectious agents or viruses!

Countries like Iran, Vietnam, and China have issued commemorative stamps in order to create awareness among people and to express gratitude towards the emergency services for their help. Joining the squad is Indonesia.

Indonesia Post issued two kinds of personalized stamps “Fight against New Corona-virus” on April 7 World Health Day, each with a face value of 5000 rupiah. The stamps show the medical staff and the COVID-19 virus strain under the microscope. The slogan “Give Corona No Chance” is inscribed on the stamp.

Indonesia has a population of 270 million. As of April 8, 2020, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Indonesia is close to 3,000, with 240 deaths.
