Jacqueline Kennedy was the first lady and the wife 35th president of the United States of America John F. Kennedy. During the presidentship of John F. Kennedy; she was regarded as an international icon of style and culture.

Jacqueline Kennedy was born as Jacqueline Lee Bouvier on 28th July 1929. Jacqueline Kennedy spent her childhood in “Merrywood,” near Washington, D.C. this was a home of her mother’s second husband, and was educated in private schools and studied ballet. Later she completed her junior college from France and graduated from George Washington University. When she took a job as a photographer for a local Washington newspaper, she met then-Senator John F. Kennedy, and the couple got married in the year 1953.

The United States of America had issued this commemorative coin with the theme of Jacqueline Kennedy in the year 2015. The obverse of this coin depicts the bust of Jacqueline Kennedy and the reverse of this coin depicts species of saucer magnolia; that she planted in the White House garden.
