The United States of America had issued this commemorative 10 Dollars coin with the theme of Mamie Eisenhower in the year 2015. Mamie Eisenhower was the first lady of the United States of America as the wife of President David Dwight Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States of America.

Mamie Eisenhower was born on 14th November 1896 in Boone, Iowa. She met David Dwight Eisenhower when he was the second lieutenant in the army of the United States of America. Both couples got married in the year 1915 in Denver. As First Lady of the United States of America, she entertained a wide range of foreign dignitaries, who reacted well to her confident style and clothing choices. During the presidential campaign, when Eisenhower was running a slogan ‘I like Ike’ (Ike refers to Eisenhower's nickname) his wife Mamie Eisenhower was also helping him for his campaign where buttons reading “I Like Mamie, Too” appeared.

The obverse of this coin depicts a bust of Mamie Eisenhower facing towards the right. The reverse of this coin depicts a woman's hand holding up a political campaign button with the slogan ‘I Like Mamie’.
