Frances Cleveland Commemorative 10 Dollars Coin

This commemorative $10 coin was issued by the United States of America in the year 2012 with the theme of Frances Cleveland. Frances Cleveland was the first lady and the wife of Grover Cleveland the 22nd and 24th president of the United States of America. Frances Cleveland had been the first lady of the United States of America from 1886 to 1889 and again from 1893 to 1897. She became the first lady of the United States of America at the age of 21 and was the youngest wife of the sitting president.

The obverse side of the $10 depicts the bust of Frances Cleveland facing towards right at the center. The initials ‘FRANCES CLEVELAND’ at the top of the coin; the inscription ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’ and ‘LIBERTY 2012’ at the left and right side of the coin the year 22nd 1886-1889 is written at the bottom. The reverse of this coin depicts the working women's receptions that Mrs. Cleveland often held at the White House at the center of the coin within the circle. the inscription ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’, ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’, ‘$10’, ‘1/2 OZ.’ ‘.9999 FINE GOLD’.
