Aland Post issued sixth and last part of the popular stamp series featuring sailing ships. It is created by Artist Allan palmer, these two stamps have spectacular items dedicated to the barquentine Mozart and the 4 mastered barques Viking. They are the last tall ships that participated in the renowned Grain Race between Europe and Australia.

Barquentine Mozart was built in Scotland in 1904 from the germen Shipping Company. She was not suitable for the long Voyages. The stamp illustrates Mozart homeward-bound in the English channel with the white cliff Devore beside it in Copenhagen in 1907. This ship is in a sail training ship for the Danish merchant fleet. In this stamp the last voyage of this Ship is seen, it was a voyage to Australia for 139 days in severe weather.
