Garfield, the 20th President of the United States of America from 1881 until his death by assassination six and a half months later.
Lucretia Garfield was born on 19th April 1832 in Garrettsville, Ohio. Lucretia Garfield met President James A. Garfield when both attended a nearby school. The couple got married in the year 1858.
The obverse of this coin depicts the bust of Lucretia Garfield in the year 2011. The reverse of this coin depicts Lucretia Garfield's interest in art and features her painting on a canvas with brush and palette in hand.
