Julia Grant was the first lady of the United States of America as the wife of Ulysses S. Grant the 18th President of the United States of America. As the first lady of the United States of America brought the turning point in her life which made her a national figure.

The United States of America had issued this commemorative 10 dollar coin with the theme of Julia Grant in the year 2011. The obverse of this coin depicts the bust of Julia Grant facing towards the right in the center. The inscription ‘JULIA GRANT’ is written at the top of the coin and the inscription 18th 1869-1877’ is written at the bottom. The inscription ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’ and ‘LIBERTY 2011 W’ is written at the left and right side of the coin. The reverse of this coin depicts President Julia Dent and Ulysses S. Grant; the two are shown on horseback, riding at the family plantation known as White Haven.
