The note illustrates Red, orange and violet on multicolour underprint colour, it was issued in 1991.

The obverse of this banknote depicts legend is printed in Arabic script on the top panel with the denomination on the right side. The image of cattle is seen on left with Hausa Sudan symbol. The Sudan map within the intrinsic design printed in the centre with a watermark window on right. The serial number is depicted on the bottom left and top right corners. The signature is seen in the centre with denomination seen on both sides.

The reverse of this note depicts image of a stork is printed on right with the denomination on the left side. The image of Presidential Secretariat building is seen in the centre with legend Central Bank of Srilanka is printed in both English and Sinhalese script above it. The lower foreground depicts the flower with the denomination in both words and numerals on both sides.
