The United States of America had issued this commemorative half dollar with the theme of state Missouri in the year 1921. This half dollar was issued by the United States of America to commemorative 100th anniversary of Missouri’s admission into the Union.
Missouri is one of the states of the United States of America; it is situated in Midwestern United States. It is located near the centre of the conterminous United States. State Missouri acts as meeting places for eastern timberlands and western prairies and of the southern cotton fields and the northern cornfields.
The obverse of this half dollar depicts the bust of Daniel Boone wearing his famous coon-skin cap and deer-skin coat. The reverse of this coin depicts Daniel Boone, with his power horn and rifle pointing towards westward the background of the coin is decorated with the stars.
