The Star War franchise has claimed one more fan, and it is none other than the Royal Mail.

With the arrival of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker on December 19, the Royal Mail has unveiled the new commemorative Star Wars stamps.

The 16-strong collection includes designs featuring heroes and villains from all nine installments of the franchise.

The series also features three new characters from The Rise of Skywalker, with Jannah, Zorii Bliss, and Sith Trooper all getting their own designs.

They feature alongside classic characters Lando Calrissian, Grand Moff Tarkin, Count Dooku, Darth Maul, Wicket the Ewok and Queen Amidala, as well as an X-wing, Stormtrooper Speeder bikes and Jedi starfighters.

The stamps will go on general sale in Post Offices on November 26.

It’s the third set of collectible Star Wars stamps released by the Royal Mail, following tie-ins for The Force Awakens in 2015 and The Last Jedi 2017.
