Continues series of stamps are issued by Aland Post illustrating Chinese zodiac signs. This year issues consist of two items featuring the cute mice that is sixth zodiac animal that appeared on the Aland Stamps. Matin Morck has created an illustrating of Aland mice that is straight out of fairy tale as the mice wallow in the vegetation snaking on blackberries. Rat is the first sig from the 12 animal cycle of the Chinese Zodiac.

The stamp illustrates mice in the stamp were created by the influence of the yellow-necked mouse and harvest mouse. The round breeding nest of the harvest mouse is easly recognisable which is similar to bird nest.
