Gold Mohur of Aurangzeb listed for INR 100000

This gold mohur issued by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in the Hijri Year 1081 during the 31 years of his reign is listed for INR 100000 in the upcoming auction of Oswal which will be held in Lucknow on 19th October 2019.The full name of Emperor Aurangzeb was Abul Muzaffar Muhi-ud-Din Muhammad Aurangzeb. He was the sixth Mughal Emperor of India. His reign lasted for almost half a century (from 1658 to 1707). His reign was marked by several conquests and the vast expansion of the Mughal Empire.
The obverse of this coin is inscribed as ‘Sikka Zad Dar Jahan Chu Mihr-e-Munir Badshah Aurangzeb Alamgir with AH Date 1081’. The reverse of this coin is inscribed as ‘Julus Formula, RY and Mint Name at the top’.
