Finland Post issued stamps featuring the statuesque evening gowns by fashion designer Mert Otsamo on black background. These stamps are related to Posti’s art award that Otsamo received in March. He has designed clothes and jewellery for various celebrities for events such as gala, stages and the annual independent Day reception. The graphic of these stamps of Posti art award 2019 is designed by AD Paula Salviander.

The first stamp shows the brilliant golden sequin dress worn by top model Alexdra Escat accompanying actor Jasper Pakkaonen at the annual Independence Day reception last year. The second stamp features a reddish dress that can be seen in an exhibition in Littala & Arabia Design Store in Helsinki from 12 to 15 September. The gowns seen on these stamps are based on the draft designed by designer Mert Otsamo.
